“The Red Sharks and Orange Leopards were evenly matched throughout the first game.”
The Orange Leopards started the match anxiously. The fear came primarily from the Red Sharks' previous victories. The Sharks areknown for being very well matched and for their speed. In addition, the Leopards were curious about how the first match with an all-newteam would go.
It is a completely new team since the last League in 2020. The team consists of very young players, this also questions the team’s experience. The question was whether theirtraining sessions with the new coach would pay off or not.
Evenly matched
It turned out to be an exciting match between the Orange Leopards and the Red Sharks. Both female teams showed what they have to offer. In the first half, thematch was difficult to get going. The Leopards and the Sharks were evenly matched. After half time, the Red Sharks took the lead. The Sharks were leading by two goals, but the Orange Leopards were not going to let this happen.
At that point, things were not looking good for the Leopards. The national coachKungiyar Koci was able to convince his young team of their qualities. He encouraged them and told them not to let stress take over. The Leopards had to actlike they did in the training sessions. Koci was confident that they could pull off the victory.
After his words of praise, the young team sprang into action. The Damisiens Poloteam crushed the Red Sharks in the last thirty minutes. The Orange Leopards wereso well matched that they scored three more goals.
